Terms and Conditions

These terms set out the basis on which SA Associates provides its services to clients and users of this website.

Last updated: 27 September 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between SA Associates ("we", "us", or "our") and any person or organisation engaging our services or using this website ("you", "your"). SA Associates is a study abroad and visa consultancy established in Bangladesh in 1998, operating from offices in Dhaka and Chittagong, and registered additionally in Ontario, Canada and in Wyoming, United States.

By engaging our services, signing our service agreement, or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, you should not proceed with our services.

Our Services

We provide counselling, institution and destination selection, admission processing, document preparation, financial documentation guidance and visa filing support for students and applicants seeking to study or travel abroad. We also provide related services through our associated business, SA Elite Tours.

The services applicable to your case are those set out in the written agreement signed between you and us. Descriptions of services on this website are general in nature, and not every service described will form part of every engagement. Where you are unsure whether a particular service is included in your file, please ask before proceeding.

What We Do Not and Cannot Guarantee

We do not decide visa applications, and we do not decide admissions. Those decisions rest entirely and exclusively with the embassy, high commission, immigration authority, university or college concerned. We have no authority over them, no influence upon them, and no advance knowledge of their decisions.

Accordingly, nothing said to you by any member of our staff, nothing written on this website, and nothing contained in any brochure, presentation or social media post constitutes a guarantee that you will receive a visa, an admission offer, a scholarship, or a decision within any particular period. Success rates published by us describe outcomes across many files over time; they are a record of past results and are not a prediction about your individual case.

Estimated processing times quoted by us are based on currently published guidance and on our experience. Embassies, universities and visa application centres set their own timelines and may change them at any time without notice.

Your Responsibilities

The quality and honesty of an application depend entirely on the information and documents provided to us. You accordingly undertake that every document you provide to us is genuine, unaltered and lawfully obtained; that every statement you make to us is accurate and complete; that funds presented as evidence of financial capacity are genuinely held and lawfully sourced; and that you have disclosed to us any previous visa refusal, visa cancellation, overstay or adverse immigration history in any country.

You further undertake to respond to our requests for documents and information within the time indicated, to attend appointments, interviews, tests and biometrics appointments as scheduled, and to inform us promptly of any change in your circumstances that may affect your application.

We will terminate our engagement immediately, and without refund, if we discover that a document provided to us has been forged or altered, or that material information has been concealed from us. We will not submit any application that we believe to contain false or misleading information, and we will not do so on request.

Fees and Payment

Our professional fee, the schedule on which it is payable, and the services it includes are set out in the written agreement signed between you and us. Payment terms, non-refundable amounts and the treatment of third-party charges are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and should be read alongside them.

In summary: the file opening fee is non-refundable in all circumstances; the balance of our service fee falls due only upon visa approval; and third-party costs such as tuition, embassy fees, visa centre charges and test fees are separate from our fee and are not refundable by us. Payment is accepted in cash at our offices or by deposit to the company bank account named in your agreement, and never to a personal account.

Third Parties

Delivery of our services necessarily involves third parties, including universities and colleges, embassies and high commissions, visa application centres such as VFS Global, application platforms, banks and blocked account providers, medical panels, translation and attestation services, and couriers. Each of these organisations operates under its own terms, fees and timelines.

We are not responsible for any act, omission, delay, error or decision of a third party, nor for any change in a third party's fees, requirements or processing times. Where a third party causes a delay or an error affecting your file, we will take reasonable steps to pursue the matter on your behalf.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided on a best-efforts basis, exercising the professional care and skill reasonably expected of an experienced education consultancy. They are not provided with any warranty as to outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with our services is limited to the amount of the professional service fee you have actually paid to us. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss of any kind, including but not limited to lost tuition deposits, forfeited enrolment fees, unused air tickets, lost income or earnings, accommodation costs, a missed intake or academic year, or any loss arising from a decision made by an embassy, immigration authority or institution, or from information or documents supplied to us by you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, loss, penalty or expense arising from any false, altered or misleading document or statement provided by you, or from any breach by you of these Terms.

Term and Termination

Our engagement begins when your file is opened and the file opening fee is paid, and continues until the services described in your agreement have been delivered, or until the engagement is ended by either party.

You may end the engagement at any time by written notice. We may end the engagement where you are in breach of these Terms, where a document or statement is found to be false, where you fail to make a payment when due, or where continuing would require us to act dishonestly or unlawfully. In every case, the Refund Policy governs any sums already paid.

Website Content and Intellectual Property

Information published on this website, including tuition figures, living cost estimates, intake dates, ranking positions, visa requirements and processing times, is indicative and is subject to change by the institutions and authorities concerned. We update this information as we become aware of changes, but you should verify any figure with the relevant institution or authority before relying on it in making a decision.

All text, images, layout, design and other content on this website are owned by SA Associates or used with permission, and may not be copied, reproduced, republished or distributed without our prior written consent. Institution names, logos and trade marks appearing on this website remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

Publication of Successful Applications

A successful application is the result of work carried out by our team, and we treat it as part of our professional record. By engaging our services, you consent to SA Associates publishing an account of your successful application on our website, on our social media channels, and in printed or digital promotional material.

What we publish may include your name, your photograph, a photograph or short video recorded with you at our office or elsewhere, a written or recorded account of your experience, the institution to which you were admitted, the destination country, the visa category granted, and your English language test score. Where an approval letter or visa document is shown, passport numbers, visa numbers, dates of birth, addresses and other identifying details are removed before publication.

This consent is given at the time you engage us and forms part of the arrangement between us. It applies equally to student visa, spouse and open work permit, and visitor visa cases.

Privacy

Personal and financial information provided to us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practice, in the services we offer, or in applicable law. The version published on this website at the time you engage our services is the version that applies to that engagement. The date shown at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.

We would ask, however, that you raise any concern with us directly in the first instance. Most matters are resolved far more quickly in conversation than in correspondence.
